July Specials

July is all about Summer and summer vibes in Berlin. Football still dominates everybody's attention, but thoughts of holidays, travel and beach are getting more and more prominent as well. Despite weather being ever-unpredictable we decided to focus on summer vibes for this menu. So, without further ado, we present you our July Specials: Let's start with 4 cocktails that are on the lighter side and are there more to quench your thirst, but still give you some interesting flavours: "Suck a Duck" is the one returning from initial feature back in April bringing exotic flavour of pandan along with with freshness of basil and lime topped with tonic water; "Caribbean Punch" is the latest addition in a mango series combining rum and coconut flavours with Tatra tea base resulting in a delightful Caribbean concoction; "Vineyard" was a feature during our singani popup in June and brings more fruitiness and sour notes to the menu with almost wine direction; "Berlin Zeit" is another pure Berlin creation depending on Club Mate for freshness, while new Artwerk Brandy and Thym thyme liqueur bring up the flavours. 3 drinks are making there return: "Japanese Garden" - the best seller in February and May; enigmatic "Across the Equator" bringing back aquavit to the table; and "Red Velvet" - for lovers of fruity notes and coffee. And here comes the new boozy additions: "Drunk Cherry" - based on Luxardo's Sour Cherry gin mixing it with Jamaican rum and cinnamon flavours; "Green Cat" - cheeky combination of herbal notes of Luxardo's new green liqueur similar to Chartreuse, smokiness of mezcal and zesty notes of fino sherry and lime; "Franz Diener" - a sweet citrusy smoothie cocktail based on Mumpitz of the same name with tequila base; "Archangel" is a classic coming from NYC, but with a Berlin twist using Spree Bio Cucumber Gin and Spreetz both produced in Berlin along with Mondino from Bavaria in lieu of generic London dry gin and Aperol; "Pirate Water" and "Rupture" are both complex drinks just the way Michael likes them with absinthe as a key ingredient and bringing some caribbean voodoo in former and grassy herbal-ness in the latter. This in has been Michael Korkia’s own creation using London Hill Dry Gin as a base. This gin spent 3.5 months in a freshly charred oak barrel, which took the edges off the original gin and infused wit with slight amber colour and pleasant woody and smoky notes. In addition 2 types of black olives (from Italy and Morocco) have been added to the maturation process, which gave the drink a prominent notes of salt and olives along with hint of bitterness. This gin works perfectly as a gin and tonic when mixed with an Original Aqua Monaco tonic. Perfect for those lovers of sweet and salty and olive lovers out there.
