April Specials
After a huge success of the last two monthly specials with most of the items getting sold out before end of the month, we have been under pressure to keep up with our really high standards and I think Michael outdid himself. This month we have only 3 cocktails coming back from the past special's menus: "Pistacchio" (a creamy delight), "Espiritu Santo" (brother of a "Sacred Goat") and The Barrel-Aged Negroni, which is now down to last 20 portions. "El Presidente Loco" got a face lift in terms of peach brandy liqueur, which we used instead of Apry liqueur.
From the newcomers, we have 2 long cocktails: "Suck a Duck" - combining basil, lime and pandan tastes with freshness of a tonic water; and "Sunshine Mule" which brings the best of grape and feijoa fruitiness with spiciness of ginger beer - both immediate summer classics.
"How To Destroy Angels" draws inspiration from Trent Reznor's project of the same name and had it's debut on Suspira Bar's menu as a February Special. It was so popular and carved a special spot in Michael's heart so he brought it right back to Redrum audience.
"Georgian in Berlin" is the latest entry by Michael to a cocktail competition held by Cointreau to tell a localised story of a classic "Margarita", so here is our twist on it.
Lastly we have a trinity of complex and very unique cocktails that you simply need to try to understand: "Sacrament", "Across the Equator" and "Clarity".
Anyhow, we think everyone will find something for themselves and also discover some new flavour, aromas a depths of perception. ;)
Cheers!
All drinks created, developed and prepared by Michael Korkia.
