Herbal Liqueurs
Jefferson Amaro Importante (SOLD OUT)
Country: Italy
Alcohol: 30%
Jefferson Amaro Importante. The story goes that after surviving the shipwreck, he found refuge in the old bonded warehouse (Vecchio Magazzino Doganale).
It was he who selected and collected citrus fruits, aromatic spices and herbs from all over Calabria.
Today it is all reproduced again in an authentic way, paying close attention to detail.
Bergamot, sweet and sour oranges, rosemary and oregano are the basic and natural ingredients from Calabria.
Combined with other herbs and spices, they make up the unique Jefferson.
Its Mediterranean taste can be enjoyed both at room temperature and chilled. Ideal for mixing, for great classics, as a bitter or as an addition to vermouth.
He started selling his liquors just for fun. Jefferson was convinced he had the best bitters in the world, perhaps he was so right that it said “Bitter Important” on its label. Thanks to the successes he had achieved in the great salons of Italy and Europe. Gil and Roger never expected so many awards.
Tatratea 52 Original Tea Liqueur
Country: Slovakia
Alcohol: 52%
Another highlight of the Tatratea liqueur series from Slovakia is the orange flavor. An old Tatra recipe for mixing tea and alcohol was the basis for these liqueurs to emerge. But in the meantime they have been able to celebrate such success that new flavor nuances are constantly being offered, such as orange here. The basis is a fruit tea that is mixed with high-quality alcohol. This is based on grain brandy and is refined with citrus fruits and even a little licorice. The aroma reveals these ingredients and creates a wonderful interplay of the individual ingredients. A little woody smoke resonates in the taste and is briefly reminiscent of whiskey. Also the thought of rum could arise, although this is particularly popular in the cold season when poured into the tea. Since the orange variant Tatratea 52 is quite high-percentage, it is also well suited for mixing. Many cocktail creations have meanwhile come onto the market, but you can also experiment and see what can be produced from the variety of the Karloff house.

You can also taste delicate facets of vanilla and orange as well as a clear note of gentian. In addition to Pernod, the Suze is a real classic and is part of every French menu.
Olympia Amaro
Country: Italy
Alcohol: 28%
Particular characteristics of Olympia are a pleasant fragrance exuded by cardamom and lively spice and citrus notes imparted by timut pepper. The Bitter Olympia Bitter is inspired by a woman who made history for women in her own way: Olimpe de Gauge, who fought hard for the rights of the defenseless, especially women, during the French Revolution. All her life she fought for their right to vote and speak as much, as they had the right to go to the gallows. And then, ironically, she died by guillotine.
A beautiful reinterpretation of Olympia by Manet appears on the label, holding a beautiful glass of Negroni.

All ingredients are macerated by us individually over several weeks and then brought into harmony with our house distillate. The result is an interplay of fruity sweetness, a subtle bitter note and invigorating sharpness.
